Novidades do Blackmore's Night e Whitesnake

No site oficial do Deep Purple (www.thehighwaystar.com) já foi anunciada a data de lançamento dos novos DVDs do Blackmore's Night e Whitesnake: 30 de maio. O website amazon.uk já disponibiliza a pré-venda de ambos os vídeos, que foram gravados nas últimas turnês das duas bandas.

David Coverdale mencionou também que o acordo com a empresa de lançamento do DVD foi sido desfeito, então a versão em áudio do show não deverá sair antes de 2006. Segundo ele, há faixas demais para um CD simples e poucas para um duplo. Ele pretende gravar músicas como "Mistreated", do Deep Purple, na turnê de 2005. or outro lado, o novo baixista da banda é Uriah Duffy, que entra no lugar de Marco Mendoza, já que este último decidiu se manter apenas no Soul Sirkus. Duffy já tocou na banda de artistas como Pat Travers, Carmine Appice e até a cantora pop Cristina Aguilera! (do site Whiplash)
